He wasn't.  There is a picture in Dave Marsh's biography of The
Who, Before I Get Old, which shows Moon naked on a couch with a
very *UN*circumcised penis.  That's the picture that haunts Jim.

I believe that routine circumcision was not practiced in the UK in the '40s -- and I once saw John autograph a "Generations" lithograph by writing "The Fourskins" as a caption before signing it. Make of that what you will.
