RE: Moon movie

I can see that as a pitfall too, but the idea I had wouldn't include
Roger TOO much. You can still be the "central" character without too
much attention devoted to you. Even though I'm not a fan of the
Interview w/Vampire series, the film of the same name illustrates the
kind of example I mean. The Christian (I wanna be Jack) Slater
character is basically the central character but you don't see much of
him. That's how I see Roger's role as a character.

>Yeah, Roger seems to have taken it on himself to be the judge & jury on

I'm not as worried about that. If anyone is going to be judge and jury,
I'd rather it Roger Daltrey than some Hollywood nut. I see him as
keeper of the Grail. Hell I'd rather have Roger as keeper of Keith's
story than Pete.

>I think that's what happened to Ray Manzarek of The Doors.

I've read that too. Maybe he just didn't like the idea of Kyle
MacGlaghglalaghaan playing him. I do think that Ray is a little more
spaced out than Roger is too. I mean, Ray speaks of Morrison as a god,
where Daltrey has a little tighter perspective on things. He probably
didn't appreciate Stone's omission of Morrison's ascent into Heaven.

I've read THAT too. Speaking of fact/myth, my favorite story from
Dougal's book is when the Manson Family allegedly tried to recruit Keith
into the Family. "Charlie's our sun, and you'll be our Moon." That
section of the book had me howling out loud with laughter. Is there any
evidence of that being truthful, aside from Dougal's book?
