Re: worst review ever

I think this is what Brian was trying to post:
http://www.lancnews.com/newera_news/whosider.shtm

I read the article and this guy is the biggest idiot. He didn't review the
concert, he reviewed what type of people where there. If he would stop
looking around at people and listen to the music he would realize that The
Who are the greatest rock band ever.

Come on now, it wasn't THAT bad. After all, he gave props to the band for
uniting young and middle aged in agreeing that it was great music and a great
performance. He even gave Plant credit. I agree that he spent entirely too
much time describing all the contrasts in the audience, and not nearly enough
time reviewing the actual performance, but I've read worse. He took 5
paragraphs to write what should have taken him 2 or 3 paragraphs. This would
have left him more room to review the actual concert. However, he did say
that Pete and Roger gave performances with the energy of those half their
age. Not the greatest review, but at least he saw a few of the things that
make the Who what we know as the greatest band ever.
