Re: A Swine is a Swine and Not Even The Who Can Save Them aka Pigs is Pigs

Jim:

I know I'm going to get in trouble for this one, but...fuck it!
That's ridiculous, except for the poor parenting. I'm another individual who
is in the center despite the fact that certain "righties" who think everyone
who's not right of Rush is a liberal who say otherwise.
I can tell you that my daughter who was raised in an environment where plant
life is not written off (after all, we might want to BREATHE in the
future!!!) and that intolerance is not acceptable and that neither religion
nor morality should be forced on others as law and The Who was played
frequently, she turned out neither gross nor a monster. Nor a criminal, nor
anything but an intelligent young lady now in college to get her doctorate
in Art Therapy.
I also have many, many teenaged customers and they aren't all swine or
morons. Not even most of them.

> your political views are not to blame, just like the stinkin'
conservatives

Ah, but they ARE! Because they believe in making all the above mentioned
things LAW and much more. Judging, dictating...I won't stand for it, I tells
ya!

> My statement about "crazed liberalism" has nothing to do with left or
right

Well, it's telling that the conservatives have to change "no tax cuts" into
a "raising taxes"...sounds to me like a child attempting to justify behavior
they know to be wrong. Sort of like saying there's no connection between a
company and an administration who has five of their employees as advisors,
and others with stock in the company, great friends with the
chairman...yeah, that's a non-hunting dog for you! Where's that promised
integrity??? Not in the White House today!

> extreme "leftists" are just as bad as the extreme right.

Whereas the extreme left, as much as you may disagree with them, are at
least rational and logical. Yes, Virginia, there is a reason not to pour
poison on the earth.
Oh, yeah, and the left is not attempting to force us all to act in a certain
way (you know, like making kids pray at school) or taking away your civil
rights (Rumsfeld). Or censoring our entertainment.
That is one big Hell of a difference! I'll take freedom over oppression
anytime.

> How true. Couldn't have said it any better.

Except that it's not always the case. Instant gratification is only craved
by those who were not parented correctly. They have few restraints, they are
selfish, to Hell with everyone else I want MINE! The short term only. First
level thinking. Give me a gun because I want one!
Sounds a LOT like a conservative to me!

MY fear is that those who use Ecstasy are going to be chronically depressed,
so when we get old all those who are taking care of us will be either
depressed or a Mexican.
Makes wanting to die before one gets old a bit more reasonable...

Oh, and Nostrodamus was a crank.

> Wow. Those are some strong words there pal. Charles Manson is completely
> fucking insane

Nicole:

Well...after all, he WAS a Beatles fan!
No, seriously, Manson wasn't actually insane, as he accomplished his goal,
which was to spend his life in jail.

> I started listening to the Who when I was about 15 or 16. It CAN be done.

See, and if you'd listened to the White Album you might have turned out to
be a mass murderer. No Who fan mass murderers out there that I've heard
about.

> i fear that older who fans are turning into a group of people the who went

Gen:

You tell `em! In the words of Ray Davies: "See the father's now the son."

> "Then," Janie smiled, "We'd be Creed fans."

Jeff:

I liked the joke better when the punchline was: "Then we'd have voted for
Bush."

about myself, all of us are talking about me."
