Is you is or is you ain't The Who?

I was just converting a Pete solo song (Dance It Away) from tape to CDr, and not having heard it since I got the remixed Face Dances I couldn't help but notice that it sounds a lot like the bonus track version of Somebody Saved Me, which features Entwistle and Jones. The bass is a giveaway for me, and even Townshend's vocal style (the production, too) is the same, but I'd like to have some confirmation if anyone happens to know if it IS in fact an unreleased Who track rather than a Towshend solo song.
