There will be a larger military, as you will see.  The funding was released 
by Congress this morning.

Clinton was a new-age economist.  He actually balanced the budget and kept 
the economy perking right along--full employement, good return from the 
stock market, environmental protections, etc.  Once the Republicans took 
over, though, the economy took a dip.

Depression era (Keynesian) economics says that during a 
depression/recession, investors become cautions and hoard money.  To remedy 
this, the government should pump taxpayer money into the economy (while 
running at a deficit).  It funds war, increases inflation and feeds the 
rich, but what the hey?  Also, it makes no accounting for the damage to 
natural resources.  Bad problem there.
