Hey-hey; I got bruesed all over at Shepherds Bush Empire and in a
machochistic sick way I loved it! :-) (just kidding) But hey, I was right
in front of Pete. Don't let all this negative experiences bring you down;
we're talking about The Who here! Now I am very sure they would really
regret that you got hurt during the show; it's not them to blame, you know.
I think that what you should do is write (snail mail) to Pete and say how
much you enjoyed the concert but how much it has hurt you. It has hurt me
too (financially); but I'm recovering as well. :-) Because I love The Who
and that is enough to cure all pain. To me they are worth all the toruble
you go through. Now I must say the ushers I mostly encountered where nasty,
but the ones in the USA where the nastiest. I don't think the band knows
what's going on here; like you actually got beaten up by an usher (not with
intention, but hey the effect was the same) and the big VIP "first 20 rows"
scam.

Don't let this be your last fucking WHO concert! You (and me) have a lot of
catching up to do to all these folks that have seen The Who 40+ times (I've
seen them 7 times now, and Pete 3 times, and maybe 5 or 6 times more in the
UK) and I'm 20. I say you go to as much WHO concerts as you can and try to
get to the front row and you'll have the best fucking experience you'll
ever have!

When I'm feeling down I always remember how I saw Pete smash a golden strat
4 feet away from me to SPLINTERS in one smash, his face was red and he was
drooling... It brings a smile back on my face anytime. They are fucking
incredible... :-)
