Who;s Next DVD - GREAT NEWS!!...and Tommy

well,as i said earlier - both DVD's arrived together
first off,Tommy:Picture and sound quality are unbelievable...colours richer 
than you've ever seen and so sharp..
sound thru 6 speakers is superb also...perfect mastering...some extras 
include essays,bio's but nothing to jump up and down about..
my only concern is - and this may be my machine,not the disk - is that on 
some tracks(notably pinball wizard) there were some lip-synch probs...sound 
seemed to be noticeably behind the picture..

now,great news for who's next fans who were complaining about it being for 
uk region 2 only - yes,it was made in uk by the BBC and is only being sold 
by UK vendors at the moment BUT on close inspection of the disk,it is 
actually region 0 i.e. will play on ALL players...i even tried it on a USA 
player...
the content is the same as other albums in the "classic" series..
interviews with dave marsh,irish jack,glyns john and of course the 
band...with rog looking quite old talking over a soundboard wearing old 
specs....
performances include clips from stuff you'd already have,but also a couple 
of new ones:
pete in studio playing pure and easy on piano..unfortunately this is cut 
short..
but you get a full acoustic version of wont get fooled again by pete sitting 
on a chair in the studio...again with amazing sound quality...
and it finishes with the video for join together(with remastered sound)..
most off the hour is taken up discussing lifehouse and why it didnt happen 
etc..
and at the end pete says that he and roger have been working on a new 
version of it  where rock music has been banned and only bland pop music is 
allowed....
