My only comment, Brian, is that Who's Next is the ultimate Who record. I'm not sure if you want your first two Who records to be their two best. Because then what do you have to look forward to?

I have all of their studio albums except Who By Numbers, Odds and Sods,, and Sell Out. I resist the temptation to get them, because the discovery of new Who is so exhilarating to me, and I never want there to be no new Who for me! But it's been about two years since I bought My Generation, so I'm really getting hungry to hear what Sell Out is like.

My suggestion, Brian, is to check out one of their later releases... it'll give you some perspective, so when you do get around to Who's Next, there'll be an idea of how they got from Tommy to their later stuff.

That said, you'll never, ever get tired of Who's Next, and I remember the first time I heard it was like 38 minutes of ecstasy, with new climaxes every 3 minutes... or in the case of Won't Get Fooled, 7 minutes.

So, in a nutshell, buying Who records is like making love... it's best if you make it last.

Those are both of my two cents.
