dead rock

Hi, 
  If rock is dead, what am I listening to? Music evoles. Rock music has 
been evolving and will continue to do so. We call it differerent names 
(punk rock, indie rock, lite rock, pop rock, etc.) but they are spawned 
from rock and roll. It had to start somewhere and it has to evolve. 
Rock's not dead, it's growing. Bye, Nicole
