Band Bashing

Hey everyone,

             I gotta say I agree with Mike and Carolyn. The music is out
there for you to enjoy.
I'm really sick of all this stuff about Stones being better than Beatles
or Who being
better than Stones. Hey, everyone in his own place ,right ? But then,lets'
face it,
the Stones were a great rock'n'roll band, but little else. Ol' Mick's
songwriting could never match Townshend's level of introspection. My
apologies
to Stones fans, I love their music myself, but the thing is, the Stones
ROCK! They
don't get down and hit you like, say "The Who By Numbers" (which happens
to be
my fav Who album).

BTW, on the subject on John Entwistle , all I can say is ,when ol' Pete
was 
doing stuff like 'My generation' and 'I can't explain', he came up with 
that mind-blowing, throbbing rocker called "Boris the Spider" That's
enough
for me ,man. The Ox can live on that in my book.
