New Who?

Greetings all,

Well, I've been lurking around this list for a while, and thought I should
give everyone my 2 cents about whether or not the Who should record some
more songs.

I don't think it would be a good idea for them to record anything more. I
find that old bands that get together 15 or 20 years after their prime
_suck_. New Zeppelin, Eagles, Stones (Although I must say I like the old
stuff; hope I don't get flamed for that one), and Jethro Tull are all
mediocre at best. Most are terrible. These are the ones I could come up
with off the top of my head.

I don't think I was even born when the Who was still writing songs. I am
content to listen to the old Who, and am certainly not looking for any new.
I think that we should all be content with what has been recorded already.
If the Who were to record again, it would almost certainly be quite
different from the older songs, and many people would probably be very
disappointed.

BTW, it is just a coincidence that my .sig is a Who quote. I change it
every month or so.
