I was in London last year and went on one of Richard's "Beatle
Walks".Evidently,he has two totally different ones, but the one that I was on
was pretty cool.We went to Marlbone Train Station where scenes from "A Hard
Days Night" were filmed. We visited the site of the Apple Boutique on Baker
St.We went to the registry office where Paul and Linda were married,as well
as Ringo and Barbara. We went to the apartment where John & Yoko were living
when they were busted for drugs, and Hendrix had lived there before them
(Ringo had owned the apartment). We visited the former EMI building where the
famous photo's of The Beatles looking down over the railing were shot in
1964,and then their exact pose recreated again in 1969.There were a few more
stops before the tour finally ended up on Abbey Road, with the world's most
famous crosswalk, and (of course) the recording studio. All in all,a very
interesting 2 hours.No mention of The Who,though. :)
