the first time.  What's wrong with cleaning them up>

        I beg to differ!  These acoustic/big band sets are quite new to the Who!

        Yeah....  That's what he wanted us to do in '89, and in '82, and
come to think of it, *for all his career*!

        Why is it so amazing?  The root word of "fan" (which I assume you
claim to be), is the word "fanatic".  In other words, we're all crazy for
the Who!

        It isn't like Pete was willing to!  He has even refused to let the
Who be billed as the Who (except when ticket sales stunk), and as far as we
know has not acknowledged that TED is the Who Reunited.  If Pete isn't
willing to write the songs... tell me, what then?  What happens when the
band's songwriter refuses to write new songs?  *They don't get made!*

        No, you must get with the 90s.  The Who has moved forward to the
next stage in their careers, and YOU are the one who seems to be insisting
that they sit in their past.  This is the Who that you're getting: Pete on
acoustic guitar (a darn fineplayer, I might add), John on the bass (always
masterful), and Roger wailing like he always has (he never could truly sing
a note).
