I agree--the best choice would be somebody who could PLAY the role well, 
rather than someone we KNOW...but, when does that ever happen?  So, 
casting from people we know of, Branagh wouldn't be bad (he's what, 
thirty five or so?).  

  Here in New Zealand, about half the TV programming we see is 
English...I'm trying to think if I've seen anyone who'd be good in that 
role, and I'm coming up stumped!
