artist rights vs. fans

        Greg Biggs asked some tough questions about boots - as to whether
they are proper or not.

        One one hand, they do take a lot of money from the performer; last
time I checked, the local bootleg salesman did not send a cut of his profits
to the musicians whose albums he was selling.

        On the other hand, there are us fans who are just dying to hear the
music, and not enough is being released by the record companies to make us
happy.

        Who's right?  Who knows.
