I can't answer question 1, but as for number 2...

There was a radio broadcast in Canada, from CFOX in Vancouver the night 
after Pete Spiked his hand.  They talked about it in detail.  
According to Roger, "It was on the last note of Won't Get Fooled Again".
Then he muttered that the local attending doctor said if he was asked to put 
an object through a hand with minimal damage, he'd be hard pressed, but Pete 
managed to do it.
(no encore, i guess)  :--)

The broadcast was supposed to be all 3 members, but Pete was absent because 
of the accident.  So we go John and Roger for 90 minutes.  The interviewers 
were ok, but no where as good as Rockline.

okay, sorry about the number of questions, but I have two more.
1.  Is John coming to First Ave in Minn, MN and what kind of set might he
      do if so?
2.  I heard a rumor that Pete was doing his bowling type arm motions
during the join together tour and impaled his right hand on his
whammey bar.  How true is this?
