   Well, for the right amount, I'm sure Gibson would be happy to whip you up
anything you want.  But I think the current SG Specials kind of suck anyways,
because: a.) they have ebony fingerboards; b.) you can't get the cool Pete-
esque cherry finish, only "Ferrari Red;" c.) I've seen examples with badly
filed fret edges that were sharper than those on some $200 guitars I've seen.
   Actually, for my money, the closest thing currently available to a Pete-
style SG is the Epiphone SG copy.  It comes with standard humbuckers, but it's
so much cheaper than the Gibson that you could afford to spring for a pair of
P90's.  
   Sorry we're slowly drifting away from 100% USDA Who content here....  Now
back to our regular scheduled progamming.
