A good live show

>
>>What I want is a live performance between Tommy and WBN...

>Unfortunately, there's nothing good out there... "Soccer Rock" and "Love
>Reign O'er Me" are from the '74 Charton Football concert, but are almost
>impossible to get in the USA. You didn't mention "Shakin' All Over", the
>best (by far) of the "'68 Fillmore East" concert. Here's the lineup:
>
>"Merry Christmas Mr. Who" (vol 1 & 2)-- bad quality "Quad" concert.
>"Cobo Hall Detroit, 1972" ---stay away from this--a complete rip.
>"Live in SanFransico, 1971"---nothing to brag about.
>"Who At The Young Vic, 1971" (aka "Lifehouse Live")-- its OK, but a snad
>off-speed (can be corrected with a CD player with a pitch control).
>Unfortunately it's in mono in a wierd mix. A real shame as the songs on it
>are kinda unique for a Who concert...
>"Rough Action" Detroit, 1973---about the same as "Behind Blind Eyes". Skip
>it.
>
>If you can find them, "Live In Essen" (vol 1 & 2) are great sounding (but
>mono) from Essen, 1981...

Christian,
I know I have lauded it before, but I still feel that Accept No Substitute
is damn good! I think it is availible from CD Now. If not, send me e-mail.
Yes, everyone, I know its not the greatest quality recording, but I believe
that you have to admit that it is a POWERFUL performance. Yes, I know the
cover picture doesn't match the time period, but oh well. You can't judge a
book by its cover.
