I am in total agreement with you here...when I first heard LIVE AT LEEDS I
could only wonder what had happened to that band who made TOMMY...surely it
wasn't these guys! One of their strengths is that there is so much
difference in their live versions...and one of the things that has been lost
with so many bands these days. Production values and superior recording
equipment have sterilized live music...I first noticed it around 1980.
That's why LAL and GET YER YA-YAS OUT are still the best sounding live
albums out there.
