RE: Used tires

You may want to mention where you live.

Can you mount and balance the tires yourself?
Do you know any mechanics/friends who can hook you up?

I ask only because it might be cheaper to find a local tire shop that can
supply cheap tires that include mounting and balancing. Find the cheapest
tires they sell (ie. Winstars are generic Michelins) in 205/50/15 size and
then advertise "Brand New Tires" on the Auction.

I find that if you bring in tires from an outside source, most tire shops
will charge you more to unmount/mount/balance tires. My local tire shop
charges double ($20 per wheel compared to $10).

Subject: Used tires

Anybody have a set of decient stock sized tires to fit a '97 GLX sitting in
your garage? I am going to put my GLX on Ebay and want a set of serviceable
tires to help the sale. Hopefuly someone has a set left over after an
upgrade.

Thanks,
