Cold weather window problem

Last year on the first cold day of the year my passenger window would click
when I used the auto down and auto up feature.  Of course that evening it
rained and my window dropped.  VW fixed it for me, no problem.  Yesterday
was the first cold and rainy day of the year and the auto down feature on
the passenger window did not work.  Everything else worked fine.  Today, the
sun came up and it warmed up quite a bit.  The window works fine.  I'm
thinking VW has issues with the window seals.
