lock and abs light

hey

just replaced the latch in my drivers side door lock.  having a little problem now, however.  when i lock, or unlock the door, and pull the key out of the lock, the lock starts to pull out of the handle.  i know i reinstalled everything.  has anyone else ever run into this problem?  

also had the from and rear pads and rotors replaced over the past 4 months.  after the front was done, the abs light would come on and off.  i brought it back to the shop that did the work, and they said it was probably just a sensor.  i'm planning on trading the car in this wknd, and would probably fare better with the abs light not screaming for attention.  any idea how to get the damn thing off, without paying someone $100 to do so?
