Re: Suspension Advice Wanted

Personally, I'd get a set of Bilstein Sports and a set of H&R springs. Lemme rephrase: personally, I
AM getting that set :-)

I'm finding this setup for about $625 typically, plus another $50 for the rest of the miscellaneous
parts associated, which isn't too bad from what else I've seen. I have heard (and agree with the
idea) that coil overs or normal adjustable struts are not at all necessary unless you race, so a
good quality set of struts and some new not-so-agressive springs sound like the setup for you and me
both.

My two bits,

Subject: Suspension Advice Wanted

Greetings All...
I am going to need shocks soon on my '97 GLX. I am interested in upgrading my whole suspension while
I am at it and am looking for advice. I would like to lower the car SLIGHTLY (one-half inch ?) but
improve its handling. I have been looking at springs but now see that Skunk Racing has adjustable
coils that go over your choice of shocks for $300. So I am confused, do I want coil overs or just
new springs and shocks?
Any input is greatly appreciated!
Greg
