Trim removal questions and Dynamat

Anyone?

The two things I want to remove are the hat shelf in the rear, to 
investigate horrible rattles from SPL, and the headliner so I can access the 
sunroof and also line the ceiling with Dynamat. Speaking of which... 
Experience? Good for reduction of road noise? I've heard it is. I am also 
planning to do all four doors and maybe the trunk eventually. Please advise 
with experience.
