brake rotors warping

I recently had some mintex brake pads on all four of
my rotors.  They machined the rotors, and everything
was fine at first, but now, about a month later, my
car vibrates when I brake.

They are turning the rotors for me again today, but
they told me that the reason they are warping is that
the mintex pads are so hard they create more heat than
normal pads would.

If I have to replace my rotors, do I need to buy a
certain brand that will withstand the higher heat from
the mintex pads?  Any other advice?
