RE: Tires for 99 jetta A4 vr6

I also have the Dunlop SP5000s. Great tire for both dry and wet
conditions. At first I thought the tread wore rather quickly but after
putting 20,000 miles on them, They are still in great condition.

Don't know if they come in your size but I put
Dunlop SP5000s on our Passat and they seem to
be really nice tires. Dry handling is good and they a
equally fine in the rain. They are also pretty good in the
snow as well.

They don't handle as well as the RE730s on my Jetta GLX
in the dry and I wouldn't expect them to. However the RE730s
are absolutely terrible in any snow. I have to park the car when
it snows.
