RE: [vr6] What I can do to my VR6

I think I used a 1/2 inch drill as well. just drill the holes on the
bottom, front and fender sides of the box. keep the engine side solid to
try and limit the hot air from getting in the box. if you want to make more
noise (and who doesn't) take out the resonator cone in the box as well.
it's a bitch to get out but sounds good!

Use a 3/8" or larger drill or hole saw and swiss cheese the thing.

Or, I could let you borrow my shotgun.

How does one go about putting holes into one's airbox? I am looking
for more of a laws-of-physics
answer, not "duh, with a knife" :-)

Are there specific places/sizes that make a world of difference in
performance and sound?

	2.) Modify/Replace Airbox: I put in a K&N airfilter and cut some
holes
into the bottom of my airbox and that seemed to work for me (I got
the VR6
"growl" w/o spending a lot, and my butt-dyno seemed to notice some
improvement.) Other's will suggest an open-air element like
EuroSport's
	CoolFlow... it's up to you.
