Think about Bridgestone Potenza RE71s. Great tires wet or dry. I'm in NW US,
and usually avoid the snow, but three season out of the year they are
picture perfect, and allow me to push as hard through corners as my friend's
M3 with stock (not so hot) Dunlop 8080s (8000). Tires make a HUGE
difference.
