Re: Window Woes..

i had the exact problem, and so did two of my friends.
the problem was the window regulator.
it costs about $175.00 from the dealer. if you know someone who works @ a
dealer you can probably get it for $75.00.

Perhaps, we should all write VW of
America and bombard them with all of these
testimonials. They really should have a recall
and fix this issue free of charge. Agree?

Will 00 wheels fit on my '98 GLX? I like some of the new rims that are out
there on the 00 and 01 VW's and was wondering if they will fit. I looked at
them at the dealership, but they mostly list 92-99.5, but I was pretty sure
the offset was the same on the new models as the older ones. Anyone put the
new model's rims on a a3?

Sounds like the camera manufacturer Canon. The Canon A2 has a manufacturing
defect with one of the controls. Almost everyone's camera has boken but
Canon still says that there is not a problem. Camera repair shops have made
thier own modification to fix it. It's a nice $100 fix for a problem that
doesn't really exist!!

Taken directly from their page:

<<Real World Use
When applied conventionally to all of the metallic surfaces on the exterior
of your car, especially hood, headlight trim, grill and license plates,
Stealth Guardâ„¢ should provide more time to brake when used with an
effective
radar detector. Of course many variables play into the performance of this
product. "Instant on" radar used at short range will not be less effective.
Other factors influencing your cars radar cross section such as the size,
shape and material make-up of your car, metallic objects on your dash board,
weather conditions and braeking distance requirements can each make a 10%
reduction in detection range useless. If used intelligently by the average
driver, however, this product is a state of the art companion to your radar
detector. >>

Can you say "sucker?"

Noticed that they mentioned not, the effects of this wonder-wax on LIDAR.
Guess even they haven't figured out how to bend light.

Yeah, but if you read the description, it only claims to offer a 13%
reduction in detection *under ideal circumstances*. I'd only buy it if you
have too much money to waste.
