Front Strut Tower Brace

My Ractive front tower brace did come with insert pieces. I was just taken 
back because I contacted this guy before I purchased the brace and he said 
there would be NO drilling needed. Anyway, did you go right through into 
your wheel wells then? Do we have two layers of sheet metal to drill 
through?
