RE: Brake upgrade advice

Oh yea.. that is the part that sucks...
You need to run at least a 16" rim.
All the people I know of who do track events were willing to upgrade to a
16" race wheel and rubber for the better braking. I ran with a couple hard
core track heads who use to have a set of race rotors and pads. They use to
change them at the track, race , then swap them back out to get the brake
performance they wanted. After getting the Big brake kit... there was no
need for swapping anymore. The big brakes with the street pads worked just
as well (in many aspects better) as aftermarket calipers to fit 11.3 brakes
and hawk racing pads...
You can look at it this way... with the 16" wheels you will have a higher
top end speed and a better average lap time on road coarses..8)

Sounds good George, but wouldn't I need to get larger wheels as well? I
kinda like my 15's.
