Re: whine/squeak and belt question (pls read)



Yea.. it is extremely easy to do.  I just did the repair myself today (first
time).  It takes all of 20 minutes to complete.
Remove the airbox.
insert screw into pulley to loosen belt., loosen belt.
Jack your car up just a tab on the passengers side.  This will help you get
under the car and pull the belt from around the huge pulley in the back.
remover old belt, replace with new belt.
remove screw from pulley.
Bump start car a couple times without completely starting car.  This will
ensure belt in on properly.
replace airbox.. lower car.. and your done.
It is really that easy.
it looks much harder than it actually is. trust me.. I don't do hard jobs
when it comes to working on cars.. and I don't like getting my hands
dirty... easy easy job.
