Re: FWD vs. AWD vs. RWD - long
Right on the mark, Steve. At 42, I've owned a LOT of cars and trucks from
pedestrian commuters to way over priced sport coupes. I tend to go through
a vehicle every 2-3 years, depending on income. I drive everything hard
because I like to have FUN. Arguments, especially the petty ones, detract
from that experience. This year I wasn't looking to spend a lot of cash as
I'm saving for my two kids college fund, so I shopped for something
inexpensive that would kick ass at the stoplights. After a few days on
newsgroups and web forums, I found strong arguments for a Jetta VR6 and not
an Acura. Test drives confirmed it for me, and this mailing list only
reinforces it. You only live once--why waste your breath if you don't have
something constructive to say?
