Re: power window screeching

I have the same problem, but it's only when going up.  It's also an intermittent problem.  I first thought it was temperature related, but even now in the summer it still does it.  I took it to the dealer twice, and of course both times it stopped doing it the moment I pulled in, they looked at it anyways and couldn't find anything.  It just started to do it again, yesterday.  If you find out what it is, please let me know, it's a pretty annoying sound.

The front driver's side power window on my glx started emitting a high pitched screech yesterday.  The noise occurs both when putting down the window and when putting it up, however, the screech has a slightly higher pitch going up.
