Trans Problem Update..

Well a while back a mentioned I had what felt like a 2nd gear syncro
prolblem. While waiting for my service appointment, I was downshifting for
a light and the shifter came "loose" in my hand!! Turns out one of the
shifter cables broke! When I mentioned it the mechanics said it wasn't a
cable problem, so I was actually smiling when I drove in in second gear.
Thankfully it was in second when the cable broke so I avoided a tow. Just
thought I'd fill everyone in.

My manual says the power windows are one touch down and one touch up. My
down works from each switch, but none of the switches seem to activate the
one touch up. It does work through the door like it should, up and down,
with sunroof etc. Does everyone have one touch up as well as down? Also,
what controls the function, a relay? if so, two seperate ones or one
combined. Mine is a '95 GLX.
