RE: Misfiring after carwash fixed by Coil Replacement?

Bad coil pack.  99.9% sure.  I have the same car, same problem.  Solved it
with a $5 tube of high strength/temperature epoxy.  if you would like the
procedure I wrote for the list let me know.

Subject: Misfiring after carwash fixed by Coil Replacement?

After a recent car-wash my car started mis-firing. The car 97 GLX happened
to be due for its 60k KM service. The computer printout confirmed multiple
misfires. The dealer solution is $650CDN replacement of the coil, I decided
to wait it out. Two days later the problem is gone, they say it will be back
with the next car wash.

Any idea's experience with this would be great.
