found it.  are these the best manuals for VW?  especially the VR6?

Search by your car type "VW Jetta", then look for the latest version
published by Robert Bentley (the publishing company/author). Amazon.com has
all of these. They cost $30-$60 depending on which car you have. The A3 cars
are all ccovered in the Golf/Jetta/Cabrio book. Dunno if there is an A4 book
yet...
