People will probably want to shoot me for saying this, but in normal street
driving, I've found no difference. Under stressful situations (racing,
trailer towing, mountains), I run Premium to get the slight amount of extra
power, and avoid running with the timing retarded too far.

Hello everyone,

I just got a '98 glx, and it's been a really fun car. I was wondering what 
you guys use for fuel, since I know the VR6 can take 87 octane. Can you 
actually feel the performance gain with 92 octane? Faster, smoother, or 
quieter? Or there is no difference? I'm obviously trying to find the cheaper

way to go if there is no difference... Any comment is welcome.
