Re: mk3 w/ mk4 frt end

I think if you were to change the 1/4 panels, the hood and the front end, it should work..........kind of expensive though isn't it?

My assumption would be that it should work, since the current Cabrio is still an MK3 with a different front end.

Subject: mk3 w/ mk4 frt end

There is a gent that works at a local VW dealerships in town that claims he can retrofit a complete MK4 gti front end on an MK3 without any cutting.  He claims to have done one car already and it came out extremely clean (I have yet to see the car)... but I was wondering if anyone has heard of this or seen this?  Is it even possible or is he pulling my leg?
I am trying to hook up with him in person and get more details.
