I think if you were to change the 1/4 panels, the hood and the front end,
it should work..........kind of expensive though isn't it?

There is a gent that works at
a local VW dealerships in town that claims he can retrofit a complete MK4
gti front end on an MK3 without any cutting. He claims to have done
one car already and it came out extremely clean (I have yet to see the
car)... but I was wondering if anyone has heard of this or seen this?
Is it even possible or is he pulling my leg?
