Re: Rear window problem



I had the same problem.  Turned out to be the clip which attaches the cable
to the carrier mechanism.  It appears to be a casting and not repairable.  I
have just locked the window in the closed position, but I'm sure that one of
the rebuilders could fix it for a price as they have done for my Audis.

Dismantling the door is not difficult other than some care is needed with
the handles and speakers.  Don't force anything!
