You hit the speed limiter which is controlled by the chip. Most chips remove
it which enable you to go as high as you want. What chip do you have?

Alls I knows is that I gots up to 130, staring at 145, when the fuel cut-off
kicked in. Mine's a 96.5+ Jetta GLX. I WANTED to hit 150. That's why I have
Z rated tires. WHAT'S WRONG????
