RE: radar/ laser detector



John, my advice is that if you don't want to spend $$$ on a good detector,
then it's better not getting one at all. Just keeping your eyes peeled and
being alert would do a whole lot more than a cheap detector, which is more
prone to false alarms. If you don't trust your eyes your next best bet would
be to find a used Passport/Escort, back when they were made by Cincinnati
Microwave.
