RE: window problems

I had the exact same problem on my '97 (oddly enough on the very same
window), and I wound up replacing the motor. The dealer quoted me about
$350. I was able to convince them to go in %50 on the part since my car
had just gone out of the bumper-to-bumper warranty.

I replaced the motor myself, but it did require removing the interior
panel of the door and the entire regulator/motor assembly. Not a bad
job, with a few hours and a little patience.

Subject: window problems

today i went to open my rear windows and shockingly found out that the
right
rear window would not roll down. i tried the switch on the dash and the

switch on the door and also the rolldown feature with the key with no
success.

a few questions:

1. has anyone on the list had this problem before?

2. how much is a replacement motor for the rear window?

3. how easy this the job? is it a do it yourself project?

4. how do you remove the door panel?

an added note when i hit the switch on the door i hear a clicking noise
which
i think is normal just no movement of the window.

thanks in advance
