I had the same problem with my Clarion 635 and my Macintosh w/Adaptec Toast
and HP Surestor 6220 burner. I think it comes down to the "orange book"
(or whatever it's called) specifications and the fact that the CD-R's are
slightly off format for the 635 to read it.
Maybe it's some twisted way of trying to ensure copy protection? Wouldn't
put it past the record company execs.
