RE: check engine light

Hi Kevin,
The "bad camshaft position sensor" code is one that usually comes in tandem
with another. On my 95 GLX, this seems to show the actual defect trace
route.

Most likely the air injector is bad or there is a wiring fault (rub-through,
short, or bad ground) in the ttrace wire that also grounds/sends a signal
through the CPS. On mine, its the Heated Oxygen Sensor. If you have a
Bentley Manual, look for wiring traces that both these items have in common.
It's probably a wire that has come out of the connector or that has a bad
ground.

My Bentley version is an older one for OBD I only. I don't have the one for
96-98 that has the OBD II wiring schematics. Can anyone with the newer
manual see if there is a common wire?

Hope this helps,
Craig
