I would put the car cover on and do a few things.
1. Spray paint the decal number on to the car cover so there is no
problem.
2. Talk to head of security and see if there are any alternatives to the

situation. I.e. putting a decal on the cover.
3. Get in the car after a real hot day, jump out and scream in pain, and
feint
to the ground. Then threaten to sue the University unless you can
protect
(cover) your car.

I have a black on black car in Florida and the ONLY thing that works is
a car
cover designed to repel the heat. I can't remember the brand but I think
it
was made by DuPONT. The car stays so cool after a full day in the sun I
don't
even break a sweat.
