Thanks to everybody for the advice.
   The plan looks to be to send it to Garrett and have him do it. I'll be 
overnighting it (with insurance!) to him, takes him a day to do it, and 
he sends it back the next day (again, overnight). In the meantime, I'll 
be driving my brother's somewhat-tricked-up '83 GTi.
