Re: STEREOS HELP!!??

To add a CD changer:
1. You need a Panasonic 6 Disc Changer and an adapter. (Around $250 total)
2. Get the Bose 6 Disc Changer from VW (Around $600 total)

For a head unit you can:
1. Replace it and replace the speakers. (How much you wanna spend good
lookin'?)
2. Replace it and use an AudioLink PowerDriver P4 to hook it up to the
speakers.
    (http://www.linkmeup.com/pd4.htm, $128 + Cost of Deck)
3. Replace it, hotwire it to the Bose amp and keep the speakers (Cost of
Deck).

I did this in descending order of cost vs. quality of the job as explained
to me
by the guys at Magnolia Hi Fi in Bellevue. They've treated me right and
gone
out of their way to do quality work and recommend quality products. Their
salesman are really really knowledgable, their installers are always willing
to talk to you and explain what they're doing, what they need to do, what
the
issues are, etc. Basically, I've had really good luck with them.
