That's a negative, ghostrider, my 96 requires NO clutch. There was some kind
of mid-year production change in 96 - I know because there are two different
oil filters for 96s, the one used depends on when during the production run
the car was built. Maybe the same with the clutch/ignition link. But my 96
does not require the clutch to start.
